Message It's usually just a weld and machining job. I know it won't be as good as new, and that it will be the weakest point of the wheel still. But to me, it's a lot better than having a crack that will continue to propagate.
It will get heated to around 300 degrees when it gets baked, so maybe that will help in alleviating some of the stresses cause by the crack and the subsequent repairs carried out. We'll see. For sure I'll report on any issues if any arise.
